James Loucks
James Loucks is an accomplished Software Engineer with a variety of experiences ranging from serverless applications to dev-ops, and has a background in 3D rendering. His technical expertise is self-evident, having delivered project plans, managed timelines, and mentored new employees. He has a deep knowledge of security from the bare-metal to the application level, and of modern web frameworks, giving him a distinct edge in the industry.
James has worked with a number of illustrious companies, including Electronic Arts (EA), Tile, MEC™, SpeedLine Solutions Inc, Boats Group, and many others. He studied for a Diploma in Visual and Game Programming at the renowned Art Institute of Vancouver. His academic background, coupled with his practical experience, has given him the skillset necessary to succeed in such a competitive industry. Outside of programming, James enjoys fronting a deathpunk band, cooking feasts, drawing comics, and venturing into the mountains for hiking, snowboarding, and camping adventures.
