Hailey Balestra-Foster
Hailey Balestra-Foster is an accomplished academic and professional who has excelled in a variety of fields including education, software engineering, and neuroscience. She holds an honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience from Scripps College, and has also studied Computer Software Engineering at Hack Reactor and Secondary Education and Teaching at the University of Southern California.
Her passion for education and technology have led her to fill several roles at Galvanize Inc, including Vice President of Operations and former Director of Operations and Campus Lead. Hailey has also worked as a counselor and technical mentor at Hack Reactor, where she leveraged her expertise in software engineering to help aspiring developers reach their full potential.
In addition to her work in education and technology, Hailey has also served as a curriculum developer for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and as a research assistant at the Huntington Medical Research Institutes. Her broad range of experiences have helped to shape her understanding of how technology and education intersect, and given her a unique perspective on the field.
