Back End Engineer

Designed and developed Minimum Viable Products (MVP) and/or beta prototypes for early stage startups for web and mobile platforms. Natively developed for iOS using Swift with XCode, and Android using Kotlin & XML with Android Studio.Aslo, developed web applications using MEAN stack.For one of the most challenging projects, developed mobile (iOS & Android) and web (Angular) clients with WebSocket communication with Node.js server and data persistence through MongoDB using Mongoose.

Worked in PMO office managing projects and assisting several Project Managers in data analysis and reporting. I work mostly on software development projects that follow both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. In Agile projects, I occasionally perform the role of a Scrum Master Eliminated the need for weekly manual reporting by  automating the process via Excel Macros which saved close to 16 hours of monthly manual labor

Project Analyst (Contractor)

Supported beta version of an online multiplayer during 7 month production cycle which included multiple major releases and updates. Also, was the lead backend developer.Helped to explore and implement  various user acquisition and retention strategies which resulted in achieving  a maximum of close to 100 daily downloadsActed a Scrum Master for the scrum team consisting of developers and graphic designers

DevOps Engineer

The goal of this start-up was to solve a global issue of low batteries of smartphones. It was evaluated that this issue primary was arising during conferences and music festivals where the professional or younger crowd was extensively using social media to expand their network and share their emotions.As a co-founder I had a mixed responsibilities in the company engaging in everything starting from product development to sales lead generation. I possessed excellent communication skills along with problem solving on a global scale. I was able to apply my school knowledge in practice and experienced the challenges of user-focused product design and customer acquisition.In the role of Chief Operating Officer and being part of the team, I raised close to $50,000 from various grants and awards as well as witnessed a successful launch of the Beta prototype. Alongside the fundraising, my responsibilities included constructing and improving the business plan which consisted of development plan, operating plan, and sales and marketing plan.All in all, my first start-up experience taught me necessary skills to succeed in the future entrepreneurial projects. Low margins and incapability to break even in less than 4 years forced me to exit the start-up and start searching for the next big thing.
