Jesus Lira is a highly educated and accomplished individual, with dual Master's degrees in Women and Gender Studies and Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Gender-Chicana/o Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. Jesus has an impressive range of experience, having worked in roles such as an Economic Security Policy Fellow at Heartland Alliance, Research Assistant at International Partnership for Queer Youth Resilience, Case Worker at SCO Family of Services, and AmeriCorps Member at City Year. Additionally, Jesus has served as a Peer Counselor at both the UCLA Academic Advancement Program and MEChA Calmecac, and worked as a Media Intern at the UCLA LGBT Resource Center. With their extensive background in social work and gender studies, as well as a passion for advocacy, Jesus Lira is a valuable contributor to any team looking to create positive change in the world.
