Buyers Administration Assistant

Work as sole BAA on high profile Softs department covering trousers, jackets, skirts and playsuits.

-  Full critical path management, approx 120 options across 4 departments
-  Liaise with suppliers on a daily basis to control intake and ensure critical path dates are maintained – UK, Far East, India and Turkey
-  Attend all department meetings – Strategy, Selection and Sign Off
-  Organise and attend fit sessions helping Buyer with style changes
-  Maintain and update intake and commitment rails ensuring product is ready for review
-  Prepare for weekly trade meeting on Mondays ensuring all product has been updated and standardised
-  Raise new POs and carry out amendments
-  Attend supplier meetings with Buyer and help with product development
-  Take part in the ‘buddy system’ at Select helping newer BAA’s with any training needs
-  General admin duties and organisation

Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with window concept which is changed on a fortnightly basis – select window outfits and get approval from head of buying
- Present new reactions to head of buying weekly, giving overview of department’s performance
- Organise product for story co-ordination and follow through on action points
- Communication intake stories to stores on a weekly basis to help with new product placement and story continuity

Buyers Admin Assistant

Respond and successfully deal with escalated customer queries, including celebrity clients and questions directed at management. Work with the Garment Technology team to investigate and resolve queries from beginning to end, concluding with the best resolution for the customer:

-  Achieved an ‘Above and Beyond’ in review of a specific query, whereby the customer was extremely unhappy due to an internal error
-  Highest point of contact for escalated customer queries (including celebrity clients and CEO emails)
-  Collaboration with the Garment Technology team, identifying trends and raising problems with specific lines or items
-  Work alongside the Legal department when dealing with specific customer queries
-  Day-to-day running of administration tasks such as refund issues, gift voucher creation, promo code queries and ODR platform complaints
