Laura Thompson is a well-educated entrepreneur, investor, and advisor with a passion for mission-driven work. She studied at Evanston Township High School and Wayland Academy, before receiving her BA in Public Policy & American Institutions from Brown University. Thompson also completed a Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning (CFP) from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Certificate in Marketing from INSEAD.

Thompson is the Founder and Program Director of Execs on Deck at On Deck, where she helps mission-driven individuals and organizations access the resources they need to make a difference. She has also been an Angel Investor at The Council, Advisor and former interim COO at Wayfinder, VP of Marketing at Farther Finance, and an Entrepreneur in Residence at Brown University. Additionally, Thompson has worked as a Fellow and Investor at GV, Preparing Moonshots for Contact with the Real World at X, the moonshot factory, PMM, Europe at Google, and APMM, Small Business Marketing at Google.
