Ruth Summers

Ruth Summers is a dedicated professional with a passion for empowering young adults and youth. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Tufts University, as well as a Master of Education in human development and psychology from Harvard University Graduate School of Education. With an extensive background in education, Ruth has worked in various capacities at Citizen Schools, including as a Coordinator of Special Education, Staff Support Coordinator, and Teaching Fellow. Currently, Ruth is a Special Project Manager at Massachusetts Association for the Blind (MAB) Community Services, where she spearheads a project aimed at increasing independence for residents of young adult group homes. Ruth is committed to continuing her work with young people both through counseling and teaching.
