Jason Smith is a seasoned entertainment professional with over 20 years of experience under his belt. He has honed his craft working with major entertainment companies at the intersection of product innovation and creative development, building high-performing creative and technical teams. Jason's robust career working on global IP including Harry Potter, Star Wars, Avatar, and Batman involved working for some of the most renowned studios like EA, Bullfrog, Criterion, LucasArts, Ubisoft, and 2K. He has significant experience building product and service teams, including production tools and technology, design and vis dev, outsourcing and co-dev, casting and narrative, and decades of experience optimizing a delivery-based culture in large and small studios through process-driven development and successful global partnerships.

Jason's educational background includes a BA Hons, Animation & Film from the Arts University Bournemouth and an ND Graphics in Graphic Design & Art History from Croydon College. In addition to his professional and educational accomplishments, Jason serves on the boards of SIGGRAPH and View Conference, which allow him to maintain wide exposure to cutting-edge global developments in Games, VFX, xR, entertainment software, and hardware. He presents on behalf of the UK Board of Trade & Investment and the British American Business Council and is honored to serve on international Game and Animation juries.
