Rocco Haro is a skilled and experienced full-stack developer, entrepreneur, researcher, and former Stanford Ignite Fellow with a strong interest in machine learning, data analysis, and forecasting. He has published a paper on using hybrid machine learning models to identify complex weather patterns and power usage associations to forecast power demand in rural Alaskan towns. Rocco has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Alaska Anchorage and another in Pre-Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Throughout his professional journey, Rocco has worked as a Software Development Intern at Gurtin Municipal Bond Management, Software Engineer at Visa, and Product Support Engineer at Alto Pharmacy. He has also served as a former Undergraduate Teaching Assistant - Data Structures & Algorithms at the University of Alaska Anchorage and later as a Teaching Assistant. He has displayed an entrepreneurial spirit from his co-ownership of chargersurplus.com, Founder at Kickback Space Inc, and experience as an iPhone repair specialist.

Additionally, Rocco has been involved in various organizations including being a former Student Board Member at Review of Infrastructure, Sustainability, and Energy Board and Piano Professor at Piano Teacher. His expertise is in Java Spring MVC, AngularJS, Flask, Ruby on Rails, React-Redux, and Go. Rocco is a former Researcher at UCSD Moores Cancer Center, and a former Orientation Leader at University of Alaska Fairbanks.
