He holds a PhD in Computational Linguistics from the University of Nancy II Lorraine, where he earned a Mention Très Honorable and was awarded the 1996 Grand Prix de la Recherche in recognition of his groundbreaking research and results. Outside of his passion for text summarization technology, Dr. Rafih Lehmam is involved in multiple professional and personal interests. He received a Diplôme universitaire de technologie in computer programming from the IUT Charlemagne of the University of Nancy II.
