Maurice Blanchard is a seasoned professional with over 28 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. He has held executive positions at several large investment banks and has successfully underwritten, structured and marketed various real estate assets and securities, including CMBS pools, shopping centers, hotels, office projects, and various land investments. Blanchard studied MBA, Finance & Accounting at the University of Southern California and has been active in the Oil/Gas and Mining space, with several funding sources for JVs, financings, and purchases of commodities. He specializes in restructuring, acquiring, and financing distressed commercial real estate assets and loans throughout the western US to achieve attractive returns during a perceived near term substantial buying opportunity.

As the Principal at Bradford Capital, Blanchard seeks gold (dore & bullion), silver, and sugar - from US & S. + C. America - and Oil/Gas projects based in the US. He also works with a BLCO mandate with signatory authority for 2 sellers. On a consulting or permanent employment basis, Blanchard works towards achieving attractive returns on distressed commercial real estate assets and loans throughout the western US. In August 2008, he was retained by Capital Alliance Institutional Mortgage Fund in San Francisco to underwrite, negotiate re-structurings, and raise additional equity capital to purchase distressed condominium developments in default.
