Esther Dyson is an accomplished angel investor, board member, and executive founder. With a passion for exploring new tech startups and innovative health initiatives, Dyson has focused her work in five small communities to demonstrate the long-term value of investment in health and equity. As the executive founder of Wellville, Dyson aims to scale the impact of this 10-year nonprofit project by inspiring others and advocating for data-rich approaches to early childhood development, diabetes/obesity reduction, mental health support, and trauma-informed care. Alongside her nonprofit work, Dyson invests and advises on various new space, health, and IT startups, including board seats at companies such as 23andMe, Luxoft, and Meetup. A Harvard graduate with a certificate of completion from the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, Dyson brings a wealth of experience in semantic tools, foundation governance, board experience, commercial space, identity management, and general aviation to her endeavors.
