Swarvanu Sengupta is a seasoned software developer with seven years of experience in application development, networking, cloud-based technologies, SOA, databases, open-source tools, and high-performance and high-availability distributed environments. He has recently developed expertise in edge computation, automation frameworks, and server-less technology. He is known for his creativity, passion, and domain knowledge in his work. Swarvanu is a former software engineer at NEC Technologies India Ltd., CloudFabrix Software, and CDNetworks. He has also worked as a contract developer and assistant manager at CDNetworks.

Currently, he serves as a senior full-stack engineer at Gojek, where he builds and shares knowledge to foster good programming practices and technologies for the team, the company, and the community. Swarvanu is also an enthusiast Open Source Contributor and an active Technical Blogger. He is an active member of different open-source communities such as OpenFaas, Micro, and ElasticSearch. Swarvanu studied Bachelors of Technology in Computer Science from West Bengal University of Technology in Kolkata.
