Freelance Banner Developer

I worked at AMV BBDO for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed all of my time there. I worked on the build of a new web banner campaign for BT which went through smoothly. They have a great working environment there and I’d be more than happy to work there again.

I worked with EG+ on a two week contract working as a Banner Developer undertaking design tasks at first eg. email and banner PSD amends, email GIF creation using After Effects. I then worked on some dynamic banners which, at first, I found quite challenging but I soon understood their workings and was able to complete the task quickly. Despite it being only my second freelance opportunity I worked well with the team over there and I really enjoyed it.

I worked for three days with their all design team to help create an interacrtive website module for their client Alcatel for the release of a new phone. I enjoyed the project while I was there, however due to time constraints and the amount of extra work created they chose to go with a more experienced freelancer to finish the remainder of the project. As it was my first freelance opportunity I understood and was grateful fo the experience.

I was working on primarily building banners for web advertising purposes mainly for MRM Meterorite's parent company McCann within their M:United team, for their main client Microsoft. However I did go between offices on occasions to work on MRM's clients (Vauxhall, Cisco, Direct Line Group, TSB) which was mainly banner work but I have also done some work with email campaigns for The Guardian and Pernod Ricard.

Extensive use of Photoshop creating graphics for managed websites and also retouching photos for use in promotional print material for clients. Created responsive emails and prototyped new websites using the Foundation ZURB framework that utilises a responsive grid system with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Logo, favicon and banner design using Photoshop for blogs, websites, and YouTube channels.  Creating blogs using WordPress themes and WooThemes.  Editing tracks for music research surveys and then testing the surveys thoroughly.  Searching for domains for the company to purchase which I then built up into working WordPress sites with pages, menus and widgets.
