Jason Christopher is a passionate scientist and engineer with a background in experimental physics, electrical engineering, and computer science. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from Boston University, where he researched the properties of 2D materials. During this time, he gained comprehensive knowledge and expertise in micro/nano fabrication, MEMS, optics, Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopies, and instrumentation.

Prior to his academic pursuits, Jason worked as an Electrical Engineer at EmSense and Apple, where he developed skills in a range of sensors and technologies. He also filled knowledge gaps in mass production, calibration, signal processing, noise suppression, and automation. His time at Apple culminated in the Mid 2012 Retina MacBook Pro, which received high praise.
