Managed 300 employee organization with annual budget of $45 million which has grown into the leading global authority on energy markets, technology and policy.Led the incorporation of key emerging economies including China, India and Brazil into the analytical work and governance structures of the IEA, enhancing the Agency's role as a truly global organization.  Managed the IEA's substantive inputs into key global governance fora including the G-20 process of leading economies.Produced and rolled out comprehensive energy policy reviews for ten countries including Japan, France, Norway, Sweden, Morocco, and Chile. Drove IEA outreach and analysis at the world's leading climate change forum (COP), consolidating the Agency's reputation for sound policy guidance that bridges the energy/climate divide. Extensive high-level public speaking, media and international negotiations experience across Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America.

Pioneered energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives in Chile, drawing on support from California and U.S. national laboratories. Mobilized immediate interagency and private sector U.S. support to respond to the February 2010 Chilean earthquake -- the fifth largest on record.  Promoted U.S. trade and investment opportunities in Chile, doubling U.S. exports in first five years of bilateral free trade agreement.
