Paul Simons
Paul Simons is a prominent leader in the fields of international energy, economics, and environmental policy. He spent many years serving in important diplomatic roles for the U.S. Department of State, including as Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Energy and Sanctions Policy, as well as Assistant Secretary for Narcotics and Law Enforcement. He was also appointed U.S. Ambassador to Chile and worked as Deputy Chief of Mission in Israel. In addition, Simons has held several other distinguished positions, including Executive Director of the Organization of American States, and Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency. With expertise in energy diplomacy and global engagement strategy and operations, he has played a crucial role in shaping multilateral energy policy. Simons holds degrees from both Yale University and New York University.
