Corie Brown is a seasoned journalist with a background in food, wine, and entertainment writing. She received her Bachelor of Science in journalism from the University of Kansas. She has worked for major publications such as Newsweek, Premiere Magazine, and the Los Angeles Times as an editor, reporter, and columnist. Corie has been a speaker at the Symposium for Professional Wine Writers at Meadowood Napa Valley. Additionally, She's a former board member of Chefs Collaborative, an organization that seeks to transform the way Americans eat by promoting sustainable agriculture and celebrating regional food cultures.
Corie is currently a freelance journalist, focusing on food, wine, and travel. She was the Co-Founder and General Manager of ZesterDaily, and she currently contributes to several publications, including The New Food Economy. Additionally, Corie was a board member of St. James Episcopal School. She was also a fellow at the Foreign Press Center of Japan.
