3D's Aftercare is a Non Profit 501 (c)(3) organization, established in 2012 that has served community meals every holiday to 1000+ families.  Our mission is to empower children, create confidence and encourage academic accountability. Our vision is to affirm and empower a nation of children that will powerfully impact their communities and the world.  3 D’s transitioned to remote in March, 2020 offering full day learning and afterschool.  To date, 100% of our students received 4’s in social emotional, 80% of our students are honor roll and 100% of our students have improved at least 1 grade level as evidenced by student report cards and parent survey.   We held 5 back to school events giving out more than 1000 back packs filled with school supplies. The Center is designed to empower children through programs that promote higher self-esteem, a greater sense of self-worth and an understanding of responsibility. The Center offers Remote Learning, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) Afterschool open until Midnight Summer camp, The Teen Parent That Rocks Parenting Program, College Cafe, Teen Cafe, Middle School Mingle, Aged Like Fine Wine 55+ Club, Mentoring, Scholarships, ESL, Parenting Programs, Community Service, Workshops and so much more. All of 3 D’s programs to meet the needs of both parents and children. Family style meals, teaching Life Skills as well as social emotional learning, conflict resolution, mental health counseling, peer mentoring cultural enrichment are essential program components.

For this organization, I created project plans for agent website upgrade, liaised with business to clearly map objectives to technology, and elicited internal and external business requirements. Additionally, I collaborated with the vendor and internal development staff members to develop release plans into test and production environments. I authored Statements of Work for Quality Assurance resources, and created test plans for User Acceptance Testing. Further, I managed the budget for testing resources, and tracked actuals versus estimates. Perform this work on a consulting basis.

In this role I oversaw deployment of 6 successful releases into production. That involved creating and managing the user acceptance test plan; defining scope across testing lifecycle including smoke, environment checkout, QA end-to-end, UAT, and production checkout efforts; and identifying and managing the project and testing schedule risk that may have impacted the testing schedule. Further, I re-engineered the change management process to eliminate bottle necks, improve communication, implementation, and increase audit efficiency. I partnered with the vendor to establish connectivity for internal applications, vendor’s environment, and DTC. And, I oversaw 7 quality assurance analysts with 50+ end users. That involved developing multiple, complex project plans and test plans for financial applications, creating thousands of test cases for execution in HP/ Mercury Quality Center, and tracking thousands of defects in JIRA (Defect Tracking System.)

-  Increased success rate of Investment Representative completion of KYC forms from 50% to 90% after implementation of hot fix release.

-  Oversaw QA portion of cash management product project which allowed the institution to acquire $1.5 billion in less than 3 months.

In this role, I served as the key consultant on a release of a hedge fund application that reduced tab navigation by 7 seconds. I created test plans for an assigned project and application using Mercury Quality Center. I developed test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and development standards. Then, I executed test scripts and validated test cases, conducting comprehensive validation of account statements between production and test/staging environment versions.
