T.J. Bonzon is an accomplished educator and leader in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. He has spent over 20 years teaching in public schools and facilitating camps and workshops that expose students to the wonders of science and technology. Bonzon's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in robotics, a Master's degree in education, and several certifications in technology and robotics.
Throughout his career, Bonzon has held various positions in education and animation production. His roles included being a computer science and pre-engineering teacher, robotics coach, MakerSpace supporter at Los Alamos Public Schools. He has also been an editor, technical advisor, and media production specialist at an animation production company. Additionally, he spent time as a summer camp facilitator, instructor, and educator in several public and charter schools in Albuquerque and Los Alamos.
Bonzon's expertise lies in STEM education, particularly in computer science, robotics, and engineering. His interests include 3D printing, MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems), and Animation production. He has combined these areas of interest to create engaging learning experiences in his classrooms and robotics camps. Bonzon's enthusiastic approach to education and technology has encouraged and inspired countless students to pursue careers in STEM.
