Jonathan Hsu, Co-Founder and General Partner at Tribe Capital, has an eclectic and impressive background spanning from physics to data science to entrepreneurship. Hsu holds a PhD and Masters in Physics from Stanford University and a B.S. in Engineering Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Prior to co-founding Tribe Capital, Hsu held various leadership positions in the tech industry including Manager of Data Science and Analytics at Facebook, Lead Analytics Scientist at Slide, Inc., and Program Manager at Microsoft. He also co-founded SuperPoke, a social gaming company. Hsu is a former Board Member at zeroheight, Vinovest, Huckleberry, Teampay, and Prodigy Software Inc.

Hsu's expertise lies in quantitative investing, data science, and analytics. He has also served as an Advisor at Insight Data Science and was a Pledger at Founders Pledge. Hsu is a Fellow of Class 22 at Kauffman Fellows and has interests in technology, entrepreneurship, and solving complex problems.
