Eveline Studer

Eveline Studer is a highly accomplished professional with a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne).

She currently serves as a Project Lead at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, where she brings her expertise in disaster risk management, climate change adaptation, and environmental engineering to lead impactful projects.

Eveline has a rich professional background, having previously worked as an Msc Engineer specializing in Civil Engineering and Building Technology at Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH.

She has also held positions as a Senior Advisor in Disaster Risk Management at HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, an Expert in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and as a Programme Officer in Disaster Risk Reduction for the Southern Caucasus region.

With her experience as a Junior Programme Officer in Disaster Risk Reduction and as an Environmental Engineer focusing on natural hazards, Eveline has honed her skills in tackling complex environmental challenges.

Prior to her current roles, she served as an Umweltingenieur Wasserbau at Kissling & Zbinden AG, demonstrating her diverse expertise in the environmental engineering sector.
