John Lein is an Episcopal priest with a diverse background in software design, art, and writing. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media from John Brown University, and has studied German Language at the Goethe Institute in Germany. With 14 years of experience in software design and user experience strategy, Lein has worked as Creative Director at TeachBeyond, Art Director at Rockfish, and Adjunct Professor of Interactive Design at John Brown University. He has also authored a book on affirming LGBT members in the church based on scriptural principles. As a priest-in-charge at St. Thomas à Becket Episcopal Church, Lein is deeply committed to increasing religious literacy, exploring new forms of religious identity and formation, and continuing his work in art and writing.
