Aaron Tomlinson is a highly experienced Program Development Administrator at Fox Valley Technical College's National Criminal Justice Training Center. He holds various degrees, including a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a Master of Arts in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching from Kansas State University. With over two decades of experience in the field of criminal justice, Aaron has served as Dean of Public Safety, Instructor of Criminal Justice, and Director of Law Enforcement Services, to name a few. He has also worked as a Police Sergeant at Monona Police Department, a Police Officer at Fitchburg Police Department, and a Sheriff's Deputy at Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

Aaron's key areas of expertise include program development, business development, budgeting, event planning/coordination, Microsoft Dynamics platform, curriculum development, program evaluation, instructional excellence, and more. He is highly skilled at developing courses in face-to-face, online, and self-paced modes in several LMS systems and platforms. He also provides instruction for both verbal de-escalation, strategies for instructional excellence, and other topics at multiple collegiate levels.
