Lora Cecere is a renowned supply chain expert with over 35 years of experience in various roles across several organizations. As the founder of Supply Chain Insights, she leads her team in providing thought-leading research while working closely with supply chain professionals to develop higher levels of excellence. Her extensive experience includes nine years as an industry analyst at Gartner Group, AMR Research, and Altimeter Group, where she focused on emerging enterprise technologies, predictive analytics, and accelerating innovation through open design networks. She also held leadership roles in supply chain software building at Manugistics and Descartes Systems Group before transitioning to a supply chain practitioner role at Procter & Gamble, Kraft/General Foods, Clorox, and Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream (now a division of Nestle).

Lora enjoys writing and research, having authored the enterprise software blog "Supply Chain Shaman" and two books, "Bricks Matter" (2012) and "Metrics that Matter" (2014). She is a monthly columnist for Consumer Goods Technology and CSCMP Quarterly and an active blogger on LinkedIn and Forbes on supply chain leadership and enterprise applications. Additionally, she focuses on topics such as the digital consumer, supply chain sensing, demand shaping and revenue management, and market-driven value networks. When not working, she enjoys ballet, triathlon training, and cooking. Lora Cecere received her MBA in Marketing from the University of Pennsylvania and her bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
