Kelly Knee

Kelly Knee is a seasoned molecular biophysicist and protein biochemist with a strong background in developing therapies for rare genetic diseases, particularly focusing on hematological disorders and aggregation diseases.

With extensive experience in project management, Kelly has led cross-functional teams from target identification to candidate selection, preparing regulatory documents, conducting competitive landscape analysis, and market research.

As a subject matter expert in hematological diseases, Kelly has successfully managed industry-academic collaborations to discover novel target classes and enhance rare disease outreach and education through various media platforms.

Kelly Knee holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology from Alfred University. Throughout Kelly's career, they have held key positions at Pfizer, including Senior Principal Scientist, Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist in the Rare Disease Research Unit. Prior to Pfizer, Kelly served as a Strategic Consultant at Global Blood Theraputics, a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT, and a Graduate Student at Wesleyan University.
