Karen Guggenheim
Karen Guggenheim is a well-known figure in the world of happiness and well-being. A graduate of the University of Miami with a BA in Psychology and Economics, as well as a Master's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs, she has spent her career exploring the science and practice of happiness in individuals, organizations, and communities.
After experiencing personal loss, Karen discovered that happiness was something that could be both taught and learned. She shifted gears in her career and founded WOHASU®, which produces the World Happiness Summit®, with the goal of spreading the benefits of the science of happiness and well-being to a global audience.
Her impact has been significant, and she has been involved in various professions throughout her career. She was formerly the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at Colson Hicks Eidson and the Director of Communications at Colson Hicks Eidson. Additionally, she worked as an Account Executive at Beber Silverstein Group, a writer at Miami Herald Media Company, and as the Director of Corporate Practice and Senior Crisis Management Team Member at Burson-Marsteller Miami.
Karen frequently speaks on happiness and post-traumatic growth and is committed to increasing resilience, optimism, and well-being in communities around the world.
