Janet Engle

Janet Engle is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing and biodefense. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Nursing from George Mason University as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nursing. Her career has included roles as Clinical Nurse Specialist and Emergency/Trauma Nurse at Inova Health System, where she garnered first-hand experience in the medical field. She has also been a Director and Interim Executive Director at Northern Virginia Hospital Alliance.

With her educational background and extensive experience in the healthcare industry, Engle has demonstrated expertise in medical administration, biodefense, nursing, trauma and emergency care. Her interests are centered around exploring the intersection between epidemiology and health policy, as well as the applications of technology in healthcare.
