Petersen is a Regent’s alumni from Hastings High School and graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communications. Throughout her career, Petersen has worked in various organizations, including VitalSource, State Street Global Advisors, Museum of Science, Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort & Spa, MCH Strategic Data, Ayeah Games, Inc., JAZ’D, The Warren Group, and CMGI, where she held positions like Senior Manager Marketing Operations, Marketing Manager, Marketing Consultant - Social Media, Marketing Director, Director of Marketing Services, VP of Education Data, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Sales Manager.
