Mariah Diaz is an undergraduate student at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a minor in Urban Planning and Design with the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. With a passion for applying technical knowledge in the field, Mariah has gained extensive experience in the industry throughout her studies. She has had positions as an Assistant Design Engineer at Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC, a Consulting Intern at Greener by Design, LLC, a Multidisciplinary Tutor at Rutgers School of Engineering, and an Undergraduate Researcher at Rutgers School of Engineering.

As an Assistant Design Engineer, Mariah works with a team to provide engineering services and supports comprehensive projects, bringing a positive change to the community. She has also provided consulting services to improve the sustainability of various projects as Greener by Design's Consulting Intern. Mariah is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and has tutored students in a variety of subjects at Rutgers School of Engineering. Also, she has gained valuable experience as an Undergraduate Researcher where she was involved in developing a sustainable approach to highway maintenance.
