Sloan Vereecken is a Vancouver-based professional with more than seven years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business and a Diploma in Tourism Marketing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Sloan has held various positions at Fairmont Pacific Rim, a leading luxury hotel in the city. Starting as a Sales Intern, Sloan quickly progressed up the ranks, holding positions such as Group Sales Coordinator and Loyalty Relations Manager. During her tenure, Sloan expanded and improved the hotel's loyalty program and championed the company's Service Excellence initiatives, leading to a 12% increase in their quality assessment scores. In 2016, she became the first-ever Director of Guest Experience and continued to raise quality assessment scores and improve customer service measurables. Sloan's focus on building relationships and tailoring experiences makes her an excellent fit for a career in corporate customer culture and customer experience management. When not working, Sloan can be found fishing, traveling (she has visited over 30 countries), or planning her next home-cooked meal using fresh ingredients from local farmers' markets.
