Andre Charles is an experienced economist, relationship manager, policy-advocate, and energy transition professional. He has a proven track record in building trust-based relationships, collaboration, origination, stakeholder, and risk management, strategy, scenario-building, and policy advocacy. Charles is currently a Senior Adviser at Shell International Exploration and Production BV, where he manages the relationships between the company and international and regional organizations. During his previous role, he delivered regional business advisory, stakeholder management, and new business development support across Shell's integrated value-chain in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean. Charles's expertise includes energy transition policies, sustainable energy access, and leadership. He holds an MSc in International Economic Policy and Analysis (Distinction) and a BSc in Economics from the University of Westminster and the University of the West Indies, respectively.
