Baishampayan Ghose is an accomplished technologist with extensive experience in designing and implementing search engines, transaction processing systems, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and high-performance web applications. As the Co-founder and CTO of Helpshift, a mobile customer service platform, he oversees the development and delivery of the company's in-app customer service solutions.

BG's passion for software programming, data mining, information retrieval, and machine learning has been demonstrated throughout his career. His expertise in functional programming, non-relational databases, cloud computing, and Linux has garnered him numerous speaking engagements at technical conferences worldwide.

Before founding Helpshift, BG co-founded a sports-based social network company and designed the air ticket fare and reservation system for one of India's largest online travel operators. He is an avid contributor to open-source software projects such as Clojure, Ubuntu, Python and Django.

BG holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Shivaji University and is an active member of the Free and Open Source Software community. He has also been a Founder Coach at his own venture.
