The Citrus is a building and community in Hollywood for individuals focused on positive social impact in Los Angeles and beyond.  Our community consists of entrepreneurs, executives and creatives based in Southern California.   There is a variety of programming weekly ranging from private dinners, wine tastings, speakers series and creative sessions.  The Citrus is available for private events on the Rooftop Garden and the restaurant on the first floor.

The building is a new architectural addition to the Hollywood cityscape, representing a commitment to the metropolitan and interconnected providence of Los Angeles. The advanced materials and technology of the building merge with wood, concrete and glass in an organic and modernist design.  The Citrus originally partnered with award winning sushi chef, Nobu Matsuhisa, in bringing his new restaurant concept - Umeda - into the building.

HeartMath is a tool and human technology that improves our overall emotional well-being. The vision of Challenge Denver is to engage and inspire youth while helping them feel safe, connected, and empowered to be successful in school every day. The mission of Challenge Denver is to improve the school and community climate, to positively influence student attendance and student achievement, to reduce bullying and conflict in schools, and to decrease disciplinary actions among youth.

This mission is accomplished through the following objectives:

-  To provide middle and high school students, teachers, and parents with anti-bullying programs as well as experiential workshops that demonstrate the possibility of love and connection through the celebration of diversity, truth, and full expression;

-  To ensure consistent follow-up programming and support through uniquely tailored, student-managed “Be the Change” Youth Leadership Teams, our “Do1Thing Campaign,” and "Booster Shot" assemblies at participating schools throughout the year;

-  To offer school faculty and community adults professional development support with pre- and post- Challenge Day staff meetings.

Benton created the worldwide alliance and sponsorship program for Young Presidents’ Organization, a network of more than 18,000 global business leaders that is dedicated to lifelong leadership.  There, one of his primary responsibilities included the cultivation of strategic partnerships that would increase YPO’s value as an integral part of its members’ professional and personal lives.  As a result of his efforts, the organization now boasts a collection of some of the world’s leading brands that offer benefit programs and opportunities exclusively to YPO’s members.

Director, Strategic Alliances Division

Benton served as director of business development and strategic alliances for Exclusive Resorts, the world’s largest destination club.  In this role, Benton led the club’s sports and entertainment division and was responsible for developing relationships with leading management agencies and sports entities including the NFL and NBA Players Associations, the U.S. Polo Association and the Sports Lawyers Association, as well as individual athletes, coaches and entertainers.
