Jay Mattis, a Brown University alum, is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur in the gaming industry. He started his professional journey as a Central Technology Network Engineer Intern at Activision before branching out as an Independent Contractor at Treyarch. Jay returned to Activision as a network engineer intern before joining the team at Treyarch as a Senior Software Engineer. With years of experience under his belt, he launched his gaming company, High Horse Entertainment, where he serves as the Founder.

Throughout his career, Jay focused on developing multiplayer games with high network performance that can run on various platforms. His dedication to this area led to his expertise in C++, networking, game design, graphics, and engine analysis.

In his free time, Jay enjoys playing tabletop games and attending game design events.
