Raghav Madan, a graduate student at the University of Washington with a background in engineering, research, industrial design, strategic planning, and operations, is on a mission to build preventative precision healthcare tools. He advocates for empathy-driven user-centric approaches to bring technological innovations to the healthcare sector.
Prior to his academic pursuits, Raghav has worked in the industry, where he has honed his skills in delivering customer-centric innovative technology solutions through empathy-centered leadership. As a former Manager R&D Asia and Industrial Design Engineer at Michelin, he has vast experience in resolving direct and latent problems by building products and teams.
Raghav’s academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education, Master's degree in Engineering and Technology Innovation Management from Carnegie Mellon University with a 3.87 / 4.00 CGPA, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington, Raghav has also served as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon, University of Pittsburgh, and University of California, San Francisco. He brings his diverse experience and expertise to create innovative solutions to real-world problems.
