Paul Kankwende, a Certified Chief Security Officer, has been appointed as the Head of IT Infrastructure and IT Security at Motus Financial Services. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Kankwende focuses on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, innovation, and technological systems. As a member of the IT Leadership Team, he engages customers and business leaders to create and enhance new solutions, which Motus Financial is planning to bring to the market.

Kankwende's previous role was Head of IT: Governance and Operations at Right to Care in partnership with the Department of Health. During his 11-year tenure at the Right to Care Group, he served as Head of IT for multiple organizations, including Right to Care NPC, Right to Care Health service, Right E-pharmacy, Clinical HIV Research Unit (CHRU), and Equip Health. Along the way, he drove the company’s IT strategies, Security, and governance; built a technology center focused on high-end technology and digital solutions; and fueled the Right to Care’s global innovation by opening Centers of Excellence that focused on cybersecurity, Big Data, digital analytics, and digital strategies.

Kankwende's extensive education background includes various degrees, diplomas, and certificates from reputable institutions such as the University of Cape Town, the University of Witwatersrand, EC-Council University, Tshwane University of Technology, University of Pretoria, and Astrotech Training.

Apart from his current position at Motus Financial Services, Kankwende's prior work experience includes positions at Tshwane University of Technology, Technikon Northern Gauteng, Pc Africa Pretoria, and Deloitte.
