Von Nguyen

Von Nguyen is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background in healthcare and public policy. With a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Rice University, Nguyen went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

Nguyen has held numerous positions of leadership and responsibility throughout his career, serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Blue Cross NC, Vice President for Clinical Operations and Innovation at Blue Cross NC, and Acting Associate Director for Policy at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In addition to these roles, he has also worked as Senior Advisor for the Innovation Center at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Medical Director at Médecins Sans Frontières, and as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Nguyen's interests and expertise are broad and encompass healthcare innovation, policy development, and implementation, public health, and international health. He brings a global perspective to his work, having worked as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and as a Fulbright Fellow.
