Arpun Nagaraja, a Ph.D. graduate from Northwestern University, has had an unconventional professional journey. He opted to establish a self-defense and fitness center, Tier One Training Center, where he played several roles for several years, including data analyst, financial planner, graphic designer, operations manager, instructor, and more. He is a self-motivated person who enjoys experimenting with new tools to solve complex problems. Recently, he ventured into analyzing large datasets using R and has shared his projects on his Github profile. He has also worked as a Senior Analyst and Associate Manager at Walgreens.

Nagaraja studied Materials Science in his undergraduate and graduate years. He obtained a Ph.D. and a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science from Northwestern University and MIT, respectively. Furthermore, he worked as a Teaching Assistant at MIT and Northwestern University for a while.
