Chris Chow is a lawyer with extensive experience in the entertainment and creative industries. He specializes in contract drafting and negotiation, as well as copyright and intellectual property law. With a Juris Doctor degree in Intellectual Property Law from Bond University and a Bachelor of Creative Arts degree in Music and Performance Studies from Macquarie University, Chris has a deep understanding of the nuances involved in intellectual property and artistic endeavors. He has worked with a broad range of clients, including recording artists, publishers, producers, distribution companies, and management agencies, among others. Chris is the Managing Director of his own firm, Chris Chow Creative Lawyers, and has previously served as a Committee Member for various organizations, including the Communications and Media Law Association, Young Lawyers Committee, and Legal Technology Committee, NSW Law Society. Additionally, he has been a committee member for Lawyers Ski Race Inc and former Chair at Communications, Entertainment & Technology Committee, NSW Young Lawyers. Chris is also a musician and studied music as part of his secondary education.
