Torsten Scholl

Torsten Scholl is a tech entrepreneur and innovator with an impressive background in developing and exiting successful companies. He rose to prominence with his work at IT Carrier WESTCom, which he took from a $US500 attic start-up to a NASDAQ exit in just five years, creating over 200 jobs in the process. Scholl also founded and sold international renewable power generator omniwatt to GDF-Suez (now Engie) after developing it into a cutting-edge operation. Currently, he's leading the charge in automated logistics technology with Aitonomi AG, where he serves as CEO while co-founding TeleRetail GmbH.

Scholl's education is notable as well; he studied business administration and management at IMD Business School and earned a bachelor's degree in physics and business studies from the University of Warwick before attending Heidelberg's Ruprecht-Karls-Universität to study physics and mathematics. Before making a name for himself in the business world, he worked as a sales consultant at McDonald Automotive Group and completed an internship at KUSA-TV.
