Aimilios Orfanos is an accomplished energy and environmental engineering professional with extensive expertise in energy production and use, demand response, energy efficiency, and energy markets. He studied at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he obtained a degree in mechanical engineering, and later pursued a Bac+6 in environmental engineering and management at ISIGE MINES ParisTech, along with a specialized master's degree in environment from Ecole nationale supérieure des Mines de Paris.

Throughout his career, Aimilios has held various positions of increasing responsibility, such as General Manager at ReVolta SPRL, Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer at Watt4Ever, Energy Consultant, Expert Evaluator for H2020 projects at the European Commission, Market Development Expert at Elia, Contracting Manager for Ancillary Services at the same company, Demand Response Project Leader at Groupe Casino, and Energy Efficiency Project Leader, also at Groupe Casino. Before that, he gained valuable work experience as a student practice at Aluminium of Greece.
