Steve Bennington brings a wealth of experience as a CEO of a high-tech start-up and as an accomplished leader of innovative teams in both public and private sectors. Currently, Steve is the director of a consultancy that primarily assists university and early-stage tech companies in IP and technology assessment, market analysis, business and financial modeling, and fund-raising. He is a well-respected materials physicist with deep knowledge and expertise in the science and business of nanotechnology, including graphene, hydrogen and the hydrogen economy, and batteries and novel battery chemistries.

Steve's technical expertise in hydrogen technology and the hydrogen economy as well as batteries, battery chemistries, materials physics and chemistry, and nanotechnology have led him to be a visiting professor at the University College London and a group leader and senior scientist at STFC.

Steve's experience also spans leadership, research and development, IPR management, due diligence, start-up and early stage companies, project management, lean manufacturing, government grants, and more.
