Product Manager

Product owner for multi-tenant, consumer-facing applications, ensuring that it’s designed with best-of-breed UX and built with modern web standards while being extensible and easy-to-maintain.
Create and design customer-specific solutions as well as collaborate with Kaltura’s Product Managers and UI/UX designers to continuously improve Kaltura’s core platforms and its frontend and client applications.
Work closely with partners and clients as well as Kaltura’s project managers and sales engineers & reps in both pre-sale and post-sale phases to analyze workflows and business needs.

My day to day consists of:
- Working in an Agile development and product management process in a complex environment driven by enterprise sales and quickly changing operational requirements.
- Product Owner of custom development features including complete management from user story creation to implementation and delivery.
- Generalizing custom solutions to continually improve the company’s product array and respond to market needs.
- Business and technical discovery in Pre-Sales & Post-Sales phases
- Support the sales engineering team in complex deals by providing solution design, risk analysis, and technical discovery services.

Kaltura

Sr. Solutions Architect (Product Owner)

Managing a team of technical dedicated support engineers as well as serving as the top tech lead for Kaltura’s products within the Customer Care team. During my time as TL, I considerablly expanded the size of the team and created an extension of the team @Kaltura’s NY office.

- Managing a team of 8 Dedicated Engineers located in Israel and in the US.
- Serving as a tech lead for Enterprise and Learning related products and business workflows.
- In charge of the advance training of the entire Customer Care group (~30 engineers).
- Working closely with Directors of Customer Success to minimize churn and harvest upsells.
- Implementing new SalesForce schemes and its integration, mainly with Jira (Atlassian).
- Analyzing customers’ feedback and communicate it to Product, Sales, Customer Success, R&D, etc.
- Taking an active role in new products rollout from the early stages of design through alpha & beta phases and up to official rollout.
- Prioritizing R&D tasks and fixes along with the Delivery Managers.

Customer Care Team Lead - Enterprise & Learning

Managing the top strategic, large scale Education and Enterprise accounts (Thomson Reuters, Accenture, NYU, Princeton) who extensively use Kaltura's platform to manage, ingest and deliver video. Serving as the technical focal point for technical issues, projects and customization implementations.
The core responsibilities of the position are:
- Main focal point for technical issues, concerns, how-to questions, product road map, etc.
- Identifies knowledge gaps, provide focused training and proactive updates.
- Training - Tips & tricks for best practices, new product walkthrough, and useful debugging procedure.
- Standing status meetings with the customer and the relevant CSM and Project Manager.
- Work closely with Product Managers in order to relay concerns and feedback from the top engaging customers.
- Generating reports from the Kaltura databases using SQL queries.

Technical Account Manager

Providing Tier III support on Check Point’s products for customers and partners around the world.
- In depth work with Linux based environments.
- High level support of security related CheckPoint in premise products.
- Complex configuration of network devices – mostly Cisco’s switches and routers.
- Device management software such as SNMPc, CiscoWorks, MRTG

The job includes creating and managing official websites, databases and social networks activities. Administrative tasks including budget management, student services and applicant inquiries.

Teaching Assistant

Flash Networks is a global provider of intelligent mobile Internet solutions that enable operators to improve quality of experience, reduce network operational expenses and manage and monetize the mobile Internet.

The job entailed designing and performing both manual and intricate automatic stability, performance and capacity tests using Load Runner and Avalanche.

- Creating a complete work setup which included configuring Linux based servers (ATCA, IBM & HP), switches and routers while stimulating a mobile internet setting using Storm.
- Writing STDs and working with Qpack in order to manage bugs' life cycle.
- Analyzing HTTP and TCP/IP traffic and performing network sniffing and recording using Wireshark.
- Working closely with both development and system teams in Agile software development method.
- Testing the company's SNMP monitoring application (EMS).
