Gary Amberson is a highly experienced senior healthcare executive and consultant with a proven track record in financial performance, strategic development, and process improvement. With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry and over 15 years in consulting, he has gained comprehensive knowledge in healthcare executive leadership, clinical program development, productivity improvement, financial turnarounds, and interim management.

He has a Master of Science in Health Management from the University of Pittsburgh, a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and has studied MAcc in Accounting at Nova Southeastern University. Over the years, Gary has held various leadership positions, including Senior Vice President at Altius Healthcare Consulting Group, Manager at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Vice President at SARASOTA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, and Senior Executive at University of Chicago Hospitals / Weiss Memorial Hospital, among others.

Gary has specialized in developing a proprietary staffing tool that has demonstrated exceptional results. He has served as Interim CEO for multiple locations and has been the Senior Advisor at Altius Healthcare Consulting Group. He is also a former Interim Executive Director at LRMC North/RehabCare, where his leadership qualities helped the organization to achieve success.
