Drug development fellow and RNA biology expert Kevin Hughes has established himself as a respected professional in the biotech industry. With over ten years of experience in life sciences and business, Hughes is well-versed in the intricacies of project management, consulting, leadership, and biotech startups. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular/Cellular/Developmental Biology and Genetics from Yale University, where he was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. Additionally, he completed his iCURE scholar work at the National Cancer Institute and conducted his PhD research in the RNA Biology Laboratory of the Sandra Wolin lab. Hughes is currently a Drug Development Training Fellow - Clinical Pharmacology at Genentech. He has also worked as a Life Science Consultant at The Center for Advancing Innovation Inc., Cancer Research Training Award Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, and the VP of Marketing for Fellows Consulting Club at the National Institutes of Health.
