Deniz Bozyigit is a scientist, engineer, and entrepreneur with a passion for building solutions to tackle important problems, particularly in the field of climate change. He has dedicated the last few years to researching and developing improved solar cells and batteries, working alongside top professionals in these areas. Bozyigit obtained his doctoral degree in Nanoelectronics and Photovoltaics from ETH Zurich and later went on to become a Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT. He also co-founded Art-File GmbH and Battrion AG, where he held the positions of CTO and board member, respectively. Currently, Bozyigit works as a Technology Commercialization Consultant at ETH Zurich, supporting the development and commercialization of innovative technologies. His career thus far has shown that he believes in a collaborative approach, where empowered people work together transparently and iterate based on new evidence to solve hard problems.
