Louise Thompson is a board-level communications consultant, writer, and strategist with private and public sector experience and international background. She has a proven track record in aligning communications priorities with business objectives and organizational values. Her extensive agency and in-house experience, excellent creative and strategic skills, and strong background in digital PR and social media make her a compelling storyteller and change communications leader. Thompson has worked with large brands as well as high-growth start-ups and within the public sector, including the NHS. She is also experienced in building strong teams and talent development/coaching. The former Director of Communications at Unipart Logistics, Thompson was also the National Head of Communications at NHS Improvement, and the Director of Communications at Burton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She has also held interim head of PR positions at Zipcar UK and Maternity leave. She has expertise in engagement, writing, editing, content strategy, content creation, campaign strategy and planning, launch strategy planning, international campaign management, social media strategy and engagement, influencer programs, crisis management, event planning, and public affairs.
