Nitin Goel is a highly experienced and accomplished professional in the field of Photonics, Optical Fiber Technologies, and Optical Networking. With an extensive academic background comprising a Ph.D. in Fiber Optics from Virginia Tech, an M.Tech. in Optoelectronics and Optical Communication from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Nitin is a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for innovation.

Nitin has amassed a wealth of experience working with several world-class organizations. These include his current role as a Backbone Network Planner at Facebook, as well as past roles such as Senior Member at OSA and IEEE, Optical Network Architect at Facebook, and Staff Engineer in Network Systems and Analysis at Infinera. Previously, Nitin was an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, and a Lead Engineer in Systems Engineering: CND at Ciena. Additionally, Nitin has worked as a Manager of Product & Development Engineering at Tyco Electronics, and as an Engineer in Design and Development at Sterlite Optical Technologies Ltd.
