Carmelo Sansone, a highly accomplished marketing executive with a strong background in engineering, has more than 15 years of experience overseeing product lifecycles for both startups and Fortune 1000 corporations. With a deep understanding of market and customer requirements, he has positioned companies to exceed customer expectations and meet near-term and long-term product objectives. Sansone is an expert in integrating technology to build products and solutions that sell and have a significant impact in the marketplace. He has broad SW and HW technical expertise, with a focus on low-power technologies, IoT/SaaS/Cloud, ML technologies, automotive products and SW solutions, and sensors and sensor fusion processing. He is the Director of the MEMS and Sensors Industry Group at SEMI and has held senior marketing positions at Xilinx, NXP Semiconductors, RenesasElectronics, Touch Revolution, and TimeSys Corporation. He also has experience as the lead application engineer, software architect, and field application engineer at STMicroelectronics. Sansone studied MBA in Marketing at Golden Gate University and completed a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, and Biomedical at Università di Pisa.
