Magdoom Kulam is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive expertise in magnetic resonance (MR) imaging techniques. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious University of Florida, with a focus on MR phase contrast imaging, MR microscopy, diffusion MRI, MR pulse programming, and MR hardware. His strong academic background in engineering and his ongoing postdoctoral research at Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) showcase his dedication to the field.
Prior to his postdoctoral position, Magdoom served as a Graduate Assistant and Student Assistant at the University of Florida, and as a Project Associate and Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He is a skilled researcher with a passion for innovation and has experience working with leading MRI equipment makers like Agilent, Bruker, and Siemens.
